67th Beaux Arts Festival kicks off at Lowe Art Museum

CORAL GABLES, FLA. (WSVN) – Countless art connoisseurs flocked to South Florida this weekend for a massive art showcase that supports a fantastic cause.

Over 200 artists are presenting their own job as part of their 67th annual Beaux Arts Festival in Coral Gables.

Saturday, the two-day event, which kicked off, drew thousands of individuals to the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami campus.

“The purpose of the festival is to provide exposure to up-and-coming and new artists into the community,” said Amy Balesfounder of Beaux Arts. “The profits which we create, that we’ve got from the festival, visit support the Lowe Art Museum and proceed towards outreach programs to kids in Miami-Dade County.”

The festival offers functions in 10 networking for various budgets.
