Doctor discovers newborn infant in Broward hospital toilet’s…

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.. – A 25-year-old woman was arrested after giving birth to a baby girl in a bathroom   in the Broward Health Medical Center’s emergency room before this month and hiding the infant in the garbage can, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Rubi Ramirez showed around this hospital Oct. 5  along with her mum. She was complaining of gut. Nurses she was bleeding at the bathroom were told by her mum, according to the arrest sort. Region and her legs had been covered in blood.

Dr. Judson Numan Krosney  thought Ramirez was not pregnant. She denied it, but when Krosney checked the bathroom he discovered her infant girl in the garbage can. She was covered with  paper towels that were filthy .

Krosney said   he “aroused the infant and she started to cry,” according to deputies.  

The woman was rushed by the physician to a trauma space, and he stated he thought Ramirez carried her entire term, after examining her. However, Ramirez, who resides in Fort Lauderdale,   denied giving birth to the infant girl.

Deputy Elijah J. Thomas reported her lies did not survive long. Thomas stated she confessed to knowing she was pregnant, and said the infant was living and also opened her eyes if she left her into the garbage can.  

Ramirez was facing charges of desertion of a child and child abuse with no bodily harm. Records show a not guilty plea filed. A Broward County judge ordered her to prevent contact and awarded a bond.  

“We’re still gathering all of the facts and are not prepared to comment at this time,” Ramirez’s attorney Jeffrey Bloom composed in an email.
