AROUND 300 members of Lumad (Indigenous people) communities at Northern Mindanao in addition to Maranao evacuees in Marawi City are joining the nationally public’s caravan to press on their rights for self determination, call for a just and lasting peace, and drive for the lifting of martial law in Mindanao. The delegates in the region gathered around August 22 in the provincial capitol chemical for its send-off app Tuesday afternoon, in the Press Freedom Monument.
